Definition: the fashion label given for your personality

Goth, Preppy, Rocker, Indy, Haute, Trendy...the list goes on & on.  But whichever category you fall in, you've got to LOVE these pics.. 

These fabulous ads were "carefully" torn from my very vast magazine collection (1997 Elle)...it was a fashion shoot for "Needless Markup", Neiman Marcus.  It was a whole series & I adore them all.  But for now I chose 4 & made these Fabulous Coasters for a Fashionista...

Hard you say?  I think not..simple, simple, simple...

Heres what you need:

-4 marble tiles

-roll of cork

-E6000 glue (my "cant create without" glue)

-Clear Gloss Spray Paint (I love Rustoleums 2x cover)

-4 pictures

1. Scan pics into your computer & resize them to fit the tile, print on quality paper (I couldnt dare use the original pic, but if yours is the right size, the actual ad can be used)

2. Glue pics on the right side of the tile, make sure edges are securely glued (this is  the key to making it look like the pic is printed right on the tile)

3. Once it dries thouroughly spray a coat of clear gloss

4. When that dries thoroughly, lightly sand with low grade paper

5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 until you are satisfied with the "feel" of the tile, (you'll know when)

6. Last step is to roll out the cork, about an 1" bigger then the tile & glue securely to the bottom

7.  Once dry, with the right side up, trim around the tile with an exacto knife

8.  Pour yourself a cocktail (im partial to a vodka martini with extra olives) You Deserve it, Cheers!!
